A Striper With a Taste For Lobster

It has been quite apparent after filleting fish with very full stomachs that lobster has become a primary food source for striped bass. Since striped bass do not have teeth they swallow juvenile lobsters whole and their stomach acids take care of digestion. Here is a picture of a bass that we caught last year off of Gloucester on a half day fishing charter.

all these lobsters were inside of this one bass.
