Fishing Report 6/6-6/8 Gloucester

This past weekend brought some great fishing to Gloucester as we saw the increase in water temperature we have been patiently waiting for. The temperature jumped from 53 to 62 and was accompanied by the first large schools of big Striped Bass.

Mike, Gary, and Sharon of Buffalo were all able to land the biggest fish they’ve caught in their lives. Every fish was taken on live mackerel trolling. Large schools of herring and mackerel have been lighting up the fish-finder and the insides of the bass’ stomach made it apparent they are feeding heavy right now.
