Harbor Tour included on Clambake Cruise

Gloucester, Massachusetts is  America’s oldest seaport and the best way to learn about this unique community is aboard the Connemara Bay. As you enjoy your seafood  meal you can hear stories from the captain and crew about the waterfront.  The home port of the perfect storm and the hit series Wicked Tuna you can drive by filming locations and check out some of the boats. In the inner harbor you might see commercial fishing boats unloading their catch or a lobster boat hard at work hauling traps. If pulling up a few traps seems like more fun than a cruise check out our lobster tours here. Additional sites will include the Cape Pond Ice Factory (ice supplier to fishing boats since 1848), the greasy pole, the fishermen statue, and more. We always encourage our passengers to tell us what they would like to see or hear. If you are bringing along younger kids we often give them a turn at the helm and let them drive around.
